The SP125 soil pick is a selective excavator that fractures and displaces porous and semi-pourous soils and leaves non-porous objects unaffected. Thus its primary purpose is to dislodge aggregate, earth and debris from underground utility pipes and cables reducing the risk of damaging or penetrating vital service supplies.
FEATURES & BENEFITS:
- Employs converging / diverging nozzle technology which accelerates compressed air to supersonic speed and then decompresses to atmospheric pressure with sufficient force to pulverise and displace the soil
- It is non-conductive and non-sparking so suitable for use with gas pipes and electricity lines
- Non-detachable brass nozzle, cemented in place using Hydraulic Loctite
- Requires no periodic maintenance
- Includes a pressure guage to ensure tool is working at an acceptable pressure level
- Zero hand/arm vibration level & light weight so can be used for extended periods without fatigue
- Also suitable for the Arboreal market
